Project Management as a discipline is concerned with the co-ordination and management of projects or events. Project Managers provide the single-point responsibility in an often challenging and dynamic environment. Project Management is a multi-disciplinary career, with skilled professionals in high demand in a variety of public and private sector industries.
Application:
Typically for the staff of a client whose business undertakes multiple small to medium projects, predominantly in Operations or Process Management environments. The course covers the nine elements of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), however the contents and detail of the course are tailored to meet the needs of each client and the specific needs of the participant group. Our standard case study can be replaced with a client specific case study, when required. This course is endorsed by the Australian Institute of Project Management
Content:
The program is designed for each corporate client's needs and to ensure the individual staff member's achieve their
own goals in Project Management whether as a:
- Technical Specialist (HR, IT, Finance, Architect, Administration,
Legal, Customer Service, etc.) with a sound understanding
of Project Management
- Manager of a program of small projects using the full
suite of Project Management skills
- Task Team leader on major projects using the full suite
of Project Management skills.
Our Learning Process:
Participants in the program will be assisted by AQUA Project's
consultants on their learning journey with:
- An action learning program using a “case study”
project of their choice
- Short presentations on all the nine elements of Project
Management
- Teamwork style short workshop sessions
Program outcomes:
At the end of the program participants will be able to:
- Identify projects and their individual role in managing or contributing to them.
- Plan small to medium projects using elements of the Project Management Body of Knowledge
- Use appropriate processes to effectively manage (monitor and control) their projects.
Duration:
2 -3 days, face to face (0900 – 1700; MT & AT breaks for 15 minutes, 1 hour lunch 1230-1330).
The program usually has a week break between each day. During
this week participants can contact our designated AQUA Project's
support person for assistance.

2 days $9000, 3 days $12000.

Preferred venue arrangement is café style layout, maximum 4 per table in ½ table seating configuration, course leader’s work table at front
Location assumption in pricing: Brisbane location, course date must be a date agreed by both parties.
Commercial terms are as follows:
Payment terms are within 10 working days of course delivery. Our invoice will be delivered on or immediately after the day of the course.
After receipt of purchase order, cancellation will incur a $2,500 cancellation fee, to cover pre-commitments and course preparation. Deferment to a future date (agreed by AQUA) will incur a $750 fee to cover pre-commitments.
